I have called Covina home for 30 years, attending both Covina-Valley and Charter Oak schools. It's where my wife and I chose to start our own family, and where I've served as a City Commissioner, AYSO Coach, Covina Lions Club President, Charter Oak Education Foundation Director, and now as your Councilmember.
Safe neighborhoods, clean water, good paying jobs, and quality programs are vital to our community. When I first took office, Covina faced serious financial challenges that threatened those basic services. As your Councilmember, I made it a priority to ensure residents receive the critical services they need and deserve.
Four years later, Covina has moved forward with budget reforms that cut wasteful spending and increase transparency, while improving services. We implemented a plan to fix local streets, brought in new businesses to generate jobs, and I’ve worked hard to create opportunities for residents to have their voices heard through regular community coffees as well as modernized city communications, including social media.
I'm honored to have endorsements from leaders we trust, like Walt Allen, Kay Manning, Dave Truax, California State Treasurer John Chiang, and I hope to earn your vote as well. Thank you for your consideration.
